The following instructions should only be completed by your systems administrator, or the person responsible for managing your computers and the information on them. If you are not responsible for system administration, please forward your PCLaw® Product Key email to the responsible person.

Before You Install PCLaw®

1. Download a copy of the Installation Guide. Refer to it as you perform the installation.
2. Identify the computer where you want to install the PCLaw® data. Your first installation of should be on this computer. The computer should meet the minimum system requirements, and all PCLaw® users should have network access to the computer.
3. Determine if the PCLaw® Mobility service will be used in your firm. The PCLaw® Mobility components must be installed on one computer in the firm. This is most likely the same machine where your data will be installed. The computer should meet the minimum system requirements. When creating new user accounts, you will indicate which users have access to PCLaw® Mobility.
4. Review the Getting Started videos for a preview of the installation process.

PCLaw® Mobility: This service lets you access certain PCLaw® information from a Web-enabled smartphone or mobile device with an active Internet connection. To use PCLaw® Mobility, select the Mobility Access Manager from the setup program's Remote Computing Modules screen on one machine only. This machine needs access to both the Internet and to the PCLaw® data.
